  • Abstract
Rapid synthesis of ionic liquids were discussed in this study. Improve the traditional synthesis time and increase the yield of ionic liquids with ultrasound. Synthesis of ionic liquids ultrasound results showed that the first step of synthesis of ionic liquids in ultrasonic output power 100%. The reaction time of 120 minutes [Bmim]Cl ionic liquid yield of 61% for the best yield. The [Bmim]PF6 ionic liquid were synthesized by ultrasound for second step. The original 24 to 48 hours of reaction time reduced to 1 hour. The best yield of [Bmim]PF6 ionic liquid was about 49% The results showed that the use of ultrasound assisted synthesis of ionic liquids can effectively reduce the synthesis time and the yield synthesis in comparison with the traditional reaction.
