In this paper, we quote the mixed cross-sectional data of China´s large-scale industrial enterprises, from 2000 to 2007, with training costs of measure investment in human capital, and then give an empirical analysis of the relationship between investment in human capital and business performance. The results show that: Relative to the coal industry, non-metallic manufacturing investment in human capital gives a smaller contribution on business performance, the computer industry´s has a larger contribution; With time goes by, investment in human capital plays an increasingly important role on the performance of industrial enterprises.
