Abstract
This paper focuses on the design of a intelligent throttle controller for a portable gasoline generator. Fuzzy control technique is imposed in the controller design. When the load is lighter, the control target is the frequency of the generator. With the load increasing, the control strategy is switched from frequency control to voltage control in an appropriate moment. The experiment shows the good control performance whether with the resistive or inductive loads.
