    The numerical simulation on welding process of simple structure in the paper, there are many problems have been handed. for example moving heat, latent heat of phase change and characteristic parameters of materials reduce nonlinear analysis and improve the efficiency by indirect method to calculate constructive field. ANSYS software was applied to analyze temperature field and stress field of welding process. And the simulation of which has been realized by using ANSYS parametric design language (APDL). In analysis some effective measures were taken to ensure solution convergence and accurate result, which are very approximate with theoretical calculation, it has an important direction in welding technology. The characteristics performed significantly in the complex model.
