Abstract :
Today the world is moving towards the 4th generation cellular network. The IMS framework facilitates both the transmission of voice and data over the Internet at a lower cost. However all the security considerations made by this framework have shown concerns about the service providers and not much care has been taken for the security of the consumer. As more and more people are using this technology to send voice messages and other vital information over the Internet, the security of this information should be our prime concern. People are receiving more spam than legitimate message. Most often, these spam messages lead them to log into a phishing Web site and cause them to loose vital confidential information and money. In this paper we have tried to provide a mechanism which, if implemented by the service provider, will enable the user to detect phishing Web site or IVR from an original one.Reshmi
