Abstract
Graphite spraying is the important process of engine piston machining. Friction between piston and steel sleeve is reduced, parts life is extended and efficiency is increased. In view of technological requirements for accuracy and environmental protection, efficient and reliable operation of equipment is realized by applying PLC. High sensitivity transmission system is designed according to characteristics of linear stepper motor. Flexible impact of worktable is avoided by the use of appropriate acceleration and deceleration curves. Transmission scheme of step linear feed is adopted in the designed servo table system to realize exact positioning and graphite uniformity on piston surface. The results show that efficiency is improved, danger of producing process and rejection rate of products are reduced.
