  • Abstract
    This paper presents a novel design of a tapered slot antenna (TSA) with magnetically controllable reconfigurable characteristic using the substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) technology. The antenna consists of two parts, i.e. a TSA and a frequency-agile band stop filter. The first part is a UWB antenna printed on the two sides of the substrate. The later one is made up of several pieces of ferrites embedded in SIW. All the components are designed and integrated in the substrate of Rogers6002.
