Abstract :
Deals with the issue of how the feedback loops and control algorithms should be organized and realized in order to achieve the required performance of a given system. This issue is not specifically addressed in the literature, further, the topic of the optimal feedback organization is non-existent. Even for SISO system it is not a simple problem. The existing approaches for the feedback organization selection are heuristic and based on experience, intuition and experimentation. In other words, there are many architectures-recipes and the designer performs an exhaustive search to find the most suitable for his application, or even worse, he uses the one of his personal preference. This paper presents a framework that enables to formulate the problem of the feedback loops organization. Further, this approach enables to formulate the optimization of feedback loops organization problem.
