Abstract
Distance measure between vague sets is one of the most important technologies in various application fields of vague sets. In this paper, according to the definition of Canberra distance, a necessary constrain condition of the distance measure between vague sets is pointed out, and an improved axiom definition of distance measure between vague sets is proposed, then a new measure method of distance between vague sets is introduced, which is proved to satisfy the proposed axiom definition. Thus the present methodical deficiency is remedied.
