Abstract :
Laser intrinsic distortion during optical-phase conjugation in semiconductor-laser amplifiers is investigated numerically. It is shown that the amplitude and phase modulation due to the incoming modulated signal reduces the system performance and depends on the amplifier length. Both distortions can be reduced by increasing the input pump-power level
