Abstract :
Due to the uncertainty of working condition and environment to diesel engine in generator set during the navigation, parameters in the system are uncertain. In order to improve the dynamic accuracy of the speed regulation system for diesel engine in power plant as well as to restrain load turbulence, in this thesis a mathematical model for diesel engine and its speed regulation system is established and analyzed, thus a H-infinity controller for diesel engine speed regulation system in power plant is designed. Through Matlab simulation calculation to the actual diesel engine speed regulation system in power plant, it is analyzed and found that when the outside environmental condition changes, i.e. when there is perturbation in system parameters, compared with other condition feedback control system, the H-infinity controller designed in this thesis can effectively improve the dynamic accuracy of the diesel engine speed regulation system as well as the ability to refrain turbulence. Thus the frequency stability of ship power system is improved and efficiency of ship power station is increased.
