Abstract :
This paper presents an efficient software tool for the analysis of inductive waveguide components using a new spatial domain integral equation formulation. For the first time the Kummer and Ewald series acceleration techniques are combined into a single formulation for the efficient evaluation of the spatial domain parallel plate waveguide (PPW) Green´s functions. Results are presented for complex microwave filters containing dielectric posts and rounded corners, showing the accuracy and usefulness of the proposed approach
