Abstract
The author introduces a shipping system that relieves a manufacturer from purchasing packaging material for a product after the first year. Thermoformed returnable transport packaging systems can consist of pallets or a complete set of pallets, trays and covers manufactured from high molecular weight, high density polyethylene. These systems are used to move product from a manufacturing location to an assembly operation. This can be across the plant, across the country and today, to overseas locations. The systems are designed and engineered to give the product the ultimate in protection and to last until the obsolescence of the product being shipped
