Abstract
This paper discusses the use of electrostatic fluidized bed powder coating systems to apply dry powder materials for the impregnation of motor armature windings. It compares this method to other impregnation methods (dip and bake, heat cure, vacuum pressure impregnation, heatless cure) and identifies types of armature cores best suited for impregnation using this application technology
