Abstract :
The central focus of this paper concerns tasks of image processing. In particular it deals with the problem of image classification based on both first-order and second-order statistics. Statistical data obtained in the MATLAB environment are shown in the diagrams and discussed. The principles of image classification are formulated in this paper. The results obtained in the research can be used in machine vision tasks as well.
