Abstract :
In this paper, the pneumatic overspeed control mechanism of 300 W wind turbine was design. This paper analyses the operation principle of overspeed control mechanism, and chooses rudder yaw mode, and gives the accurate formulae of back-position-torque of tale vane. This paper points out that the balance-torque of tail vane comes form its aerodynamic force generated by the angle between wind direction and tail vane. Finally the design method of the mechanism is given in this paper.
