  • Abstract
    We experimentally and theoretically investigate the allowable fiber input power for installed dispersion-shifted fiber (DSF) in a WDM transmission system. The allowable fiber input power can be obtained by numerical analyses that consider the fluctuation in the zero-dispersion wavelength of the installed DSF
