Abstract
To minimize the size of the circuit in class E phase controlled inverter, we propose to reduce the number of RF chokes in the inverter from the conventional two cores to only one. As a result we have found that the phase controlled inverter with single RF choke core could be operated at the same condition as the conventional type. Further, the problem of saturation of core material, which usually occurred in the case of the conventional type when the magnitude of the flux density exceeded the saturation flux density, could be reduced
