Abstract
In the electric, electronic and automobile industry, cast resins are used as insulating media for production of highly loaded components. Because of the increasing demands on cast resin material in the different ranges of application, the number of production processes (preparation of the casting compound and casting) performed under vacuum increase. For the production and casting of electrical components under vacuum, it is necessary to consider certain parameters to obtain a high-quality final product. A variety of possible influences have a decisive impact on the quality of the casting. Parameters being specially related to the casting and the preparation of constituents for the casting are explained in detail in this paper. Information on the general application technology for production is given
