Promoting the transformation of Pingxiang city by drawing on domestic and international experience in a typical resource-based urban regeneration

In order to solve the problems encountered in transformation process of Pingxiang, this paper makes a comparative analysis on the transformation experience of typical resource-dependent cities both domestic and abroad, at the same time, the work experience of Pingxiang´s transformation is discussed. Three main aspects are mentioned in this paper: firstly, the paper gives detail information about the practice in Pingxiang´s transformation process and introduces the regeneration experience of other typical resource-based cities; secondly, the paper points out the characteristics of Pingxiang ´s transformation and its gaps between other typical resource-dependent cities; lastly, the transformation experience of Pingxiang is discussed.
