  • Abstract
    E-commerce has become a significant economic activity in the modern business. Credit sales is one of important business tools for modern companies. Companies can benefit from credit sales both in market development and sales increase. However, the credit risk and risk management during the credit sales activities in E-commerce become obstacles for most of companies. In this paper, the main risk - customer defaults during the credit sales activities in E-commerce and risk transfer tools are discussed and a preliminary study of risk management is presented. By strengthening the management and control of credit sales made before, during and after, combined with the credit insurance tool and other risk transfer tools, companies can reduce the risk of credit sales activities in E-commerce. To avoid risks thoroughly would help companies to protect e-commerce businesses benefits and make good use of Credit sales in E-commerce to develop new markets and enhance market competitiveness.
