China´s natural environment and resources are distributed in unbalance. In order to keep the sustainable use of environmental resources and realize the coordinated development of economy, society and environment, China sets some important parts about environmental protection in the Constitution, and a lot of local environmental regulations are made according to the need of local environmental protection. During the process of the environment protection and ecological construction, the government of Jilin Province, not only attaches much importance to the central law and rules of environment, but also establishes its local environmental laws and regulations according to its own distinctive features. Even though the environment protection and ecological construction has achieved great success, there is still much more room for progress in legislation and law enforcement work. This paper gives a delicate analysis of the environmental law of Jilin and its application situation from the aspect of the legislation status, the legislation feature, the application and its improvement of legislation and law enforcement.
