Abstract
Aiming at the problem of design size that of transmission line foundation under the current design and technical specifications in China is larger than the same level abroad. In this article, performance of UHV long span 9 piles square cap group foundation is simulated by ANSYS FEM (Finite Element Method) Program. By comparing the pile force situation, to achieve the bearing capacity of pile group in scope of the security, it is meaningful to reduce the minimum pile spacing and save materials.
