Abstract :
In this paper, a class of new aggregation operators, called the consistent induced matrix (CIM) operators, are proposed, which generalize the well-known weighted mean (WM), weighted ordered averaging (OWA), and induced OWA (IOWA) operators. This class of operators preserve the consistency between the arguments and the weights of the arguments. Based on this class of operators a novel approach to fuzzy multiple attribute decision making is proposed to solve a practical example. Besides, the GCIM operators are also introduced as common generalizations of the well-known IOWA, GOWA and IGOWA operators.
