    Feasibility of a 3R optical regenerator is demonstrated at 20 Gbit/s. Combination of optoelectronic clock recovery and all-optical reshaping gate using an SOA based Mach-Zehnder interferometer provides suppression of the error-rate floor of a degraded input signal
