Abstract :
The influence of four basic external shadings on the year-round air-condition, heating, lighting and total energy consumption were simulated and analyzed in different directions in Shenzhen applying EnergyPlus. And taking the horizontal shading as an example, the different energy-saving effects of the external shading in different climate condition was compared based on four cities which were in different climate zone. The results of the study indicated that the horizontal shading in south had significant energy-saving effect on the year-round air-condition and total energy consumption, but the effect of the energy-saving was unobvious in north; the vertical shading hadn´t energy-saving effect obviously on the air-condition and the total energy consumption; the comprehensive and shutter shading of south, west and east both had obvious effects on air-condition energy consumption. The research showed that, for shutter shading, the maximum energy-saving rate was 16% with appeared in 30° in west, 15.3% with appeared in 15° in south and 16.4% with appeared in 45° in east.
