  • Abstract
This paper demonstrates the use of finite difference time domain (FDTD) in design, analysis of finite Vivaldi antenna. The method involves a two-step procedure. The electric field distribution across the antenna slot aperture is calculated, then the radiation far fields are calculated. Numerical result of radiation pattern. VSWR and input impedance over a wide range of frequency (6-18 GHz) have been obtained. The results of this analysis have been in a good agreement with experimental results.
