Abstract :
In this paper, we suggest a fast method to measure the main beam pattern of phased array antenna. This method is done by electrical steering which using Digital Beam Forming (DBF) technique to steer the main beam to designed direction with little change to the main beam and the sidelobe instead of using mechanical steering. The result tested on our 4×8 array antenna supports that this method has acceptable accuracy for the main beam pattern.
