Abstract :
The finite volume method (FVM) is presented to investigate the eddy current loss models from TEAM Problem 21. The eddy current distribution at 50 Hz in nonferrous steel plate is calculated. The computed results of the current vector potential T has the same trend as the distribution of the measured result. The magnetic induction B on some certain positions by means of T is also calculated. The comparison of the computed sum of B with the measured B in the same positions shows that the calculated value has the same trend as the measured value and is accurate enough.
