A prototype of 10 Gb/s Si receiver for short and long haul transmission is developed. Receiver is composed of a preamplifier, an AGC amplifier, and a phase locked loop (PLL) IC. Minimum sensitivity is -18.1 dBm, and maximum input power is 2.2 dBm
