Abstract :
In order to investigate the fruit quality of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum mill) affected by microenvironment and soil water and fertilizer, the field experiment was conducted in a greenhouse in Ansia research Station of Soil and Water Conservation, Chinese Academy of Science, Yan´an, Shaanxi province, China, from March to October in 2008 and 2009. The research results showed that soluble protein content of tomato fruit was the highest in the low fertilizer and water treatment, and the vitamin C content increased as the soil water content decreased in the same fertilizer treatment, and the sugar content of tomato fruit increased as the solar radiation increased. In the low fertilizer, the correlation between sugar content and atmosphere radiation increased as the soil water content decreased. And it was able to decrease the contents of sugar, amino acid and soluble solid and the ratio of sugar content to organic acid content that to increasing the air relative humidity. As the soil temperature increased, the sugar content, soluble acid content decreased. The high water consumption decreased the content of sugar, soluble solid and soluble protein and sugar/ acid while increasing the organic acid content, as a result decreased the quality of tomato fruit.
