Abstract
Determination of small equipment shielding effectiveness is a key issue for the design of EMC systems. Due to many practical reasons, EMC design of small equipments is basically achieved by performance evaluation of each component of the electromagnetic protection brought by materials, gaskets etc. The global performance cannot be easily measured or controlled unless using some invasive measurement devices when possible. We introduce a new technique that would allow enclosures shielding effectiveness evaluation of boxes through a procedure, which does not require inner measurement of the equipment under test. Preliminary results presented in this paper are a first step toward a future development of this method.
