Abstract :
Improvement of operating speed of an all-optical regenerator based on a high-speed saturable absorber optical gate is achieved by reducing the thickness of the InGaAs-InAlAs:Be strained MQW layer. 10 Gbit/s all-optical pulse discrimination has been successfully demonstrated
