Abstract
In this paper, the study of dielectric resonator antenna arrays is reported. The results of two- and four-element linear arrays in two configurations and a four-element planar array are presented. It is shown that different configurations can be used to form cylindrical dielectric resonator antenna broadside arrays. A gain of the order of 10 dB can be achieved using two or four elements. The simulated and measured results also show that the arrays have a usual bandwidth for applications in radar or wireless communication systems
