Classroom management is an effective way to improve the quality of teaching, so English teachers should be active in classroom management activities. This article begins with the invalid English classroom management cases, analyzes the relations among college English classroom management and teacher management and student management, expounds the disadvantages of poor classroom management, points out the practical significance of effective classroom management. Particularly, it stresses the need to optimize the English classroom environment, strengthen the student management and teaching content management in order to achieve the optimization of classroom teaching.
