Abstract
A technique for the fast simulation of transients is presented. The method combines the advantages of state space averaging, decoupled simulation and envelope following. It is shown that simulation time can be reduced by a factor between 3 and 10/sup 5/ depending on the example without significant reduction of accuracy.
