  • Abstract
    According to the vehicle two-dimension eccentric collision mechanical model and the collision velocity calculation method in urban road traffic accidents, compile the computer program with MATLAB software. Based on the accident scene sketches, the parameters of the two accident vehicles were determined. The accident example was analyzed. The vehicle velocity before collision and impact angle were obtained. The results basically accord with the actual situation. This show that this calculation method is reliable.
