Abstract :
A 3-D numerical model of the flat-plate solar air collector was established. Five influencing factors of collector efficiency were selected and discussed. The Simulation program with orthogonal experiments was designed. With FLUENT simulation results, five factors that influence the collector efficiency are analyzed. Solar radiation intensity is a main factor that influences the collector efficiency. When the collector inlet air temperature is 283.15K, collector efficiency ranged from 64% to 80% with different working conditions designed by orthogonal experiment. Also, six to one of the best aspect ratio of the collector is verified.
