Abstract :
This letter presents multilayer low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) millimeter wave filters using the two kinds of embedded resonators. One is wire patch resonator and the other is double ring resonator. Operation principle of the two kinds of resonators is given in detail. The resonators exhibit good electrical performances, compact dimensions and high integration in multilayer dielectric. The LTCC filters implemented in a stripline configuration have an volume of 4.5Ã2.5Ã0.6mm3. The performance of the filters are simulated by full-wave electromagnetic simulator-Ansoft HFSS. The simulated results validate the proposed filters.
