Abstract
Due to the economic interests´ orientation and the weak enforcement of administrative regulations, China´s world heritage is facing the threat of over-exploitation and dislocation. To develop tourism industry, China must handle well the relationship between development and protection, or China´s world heritages suffer devastating damage. This article analyzed the domestic and international heritage tourism management and protection methods, and identified ways to improve China´s heritage tourism management in an effective way. The author here put out three countermeasures to solve the problem above, that is: first, to Improve laws and regulations system, so that the heritage management has a legal basis; second, to enhance the propaganda of the heritage protection, and raise the awareness of world heritage resource protection; third, To improve the management system and to strengthen the functions of the heritage management institutions, and to realize the scientific centralized management of heritage sites.
