    How to develop the economy in the central and western cities in the process of industrial shift from east to west? Shall we stick to the traditional development path of high energy consumption, high pollution and low-income? Is there a better approach to development? With the gradual disappearance of the demographic dividend, together with increasing environmental pressures, to make full use of their advantages, the central and western regions have to shift to environment-friendly, sustainable and scientific development pattern. Considering the necessity of transcend the current low-end value chain, we must take the road of independent innovation and brand, make the city to a brand city, and ultimately drive the regional economic development.
