Abstract :
Short range device (SRD) receivers can be prone to blocking due to strong signals in adjacent frequency allocations. In this paper, we report on the typical performance exhibited by representative super-regenerative and superheterodyne SRD receivers and correlate the performance to the circuit architectures used. Based upon the findings of these investigations recommendations are made for design enhancement.
