  • Abstract
Wutai Group in Wutai Mountain area in Shanxi province is one of the typical regions of Precambrian in China. The gold mineralization point of gold deposits in Wutai-Hengshan region is particularly developed. Based on the ETM+ image of Dongyao Village, this work used remote sensing image processing system of ENVI to do image fusion, texture filter and principal component analysis (PCA) to extract the linear structure, ring structure and stratigraphic lithology with the method of remote sensing geological interpretation. Finally, this work considered the 1:5000 geological and landform map of Dongyao Village to predict the mineralization prospecting area. More importantly, this work provided the technical guidance for mineralization prospecting.
