Abstract :
Reports on work aimed at improving currently available A/D converters by means of nonlinear error table compensation. Details of an error table compensator VLSI chip has been given. The VLSI chip includes a 10GOPS transversal filter operated as a wideband differentiator, and other necessary functions required to perform error table compensation. An external 11Mb SRAM, a microcontroller and fibre optic link complete the A/D error table compensation system
