Abstract
A novel unconditionally stable (US) pseudo-spectral time-domain (PSTD) method is implemented by virtue of weighted Laguerre polynomial expansion. This novel algorithm preserves both unconditional stability and less spatial resolution and hence is proved to be an efficient and accurate method. Numerical examples are included to verify the validity of the proposed algorithm.
