Abstract
A small capacity servo valve was developed for the small size water hydraulic manipulator. The system has the new servo valve to optimize the mechanism for small flow rate use, make the stroke long for wideband use, and make control easy. The test and evaluation of the servo valve was conducted by examining flow rate characteristic, leakage characteristic and responsibility. The step response and frequency response including computer simulation and real test shows good controllability for the water hydraulic manipulator.
