  • Abstract
Under special domestic conditions in yunnan province of complicated geological formation, different climatic conditions as well as uneven topography and relief, hand made excavation for cast in-situ piling, using on a large scale primary finite element software ADINA, a detailed research on the factors influencing the working mechanism, pile cap subsidence and end resistance is done. Load versus displacement graph is basically divided into 3 stages; During pile-soil interaction process, the soil body around the pile appears to take a shape of centre of basin type as in a subsidence state, pile end resistance continues to increase as pile cap load increases. At the same time load sharing with the extremity ends of the pile also continues to increase.
