Abstract :
With the development of new technology, the smart ad hoc sensor system which is known as novel wireless mobile sensor networks will be gradually adopted and deployed in many applications. Since there are so many small, lightweight and low-cost wireless sensors in the whole system, the power consumption or dissipation is considered to be a crucial limitation against the successful deployment of these ubiquitous sensor networks. Thus, a policy that saves energy and power is quite necessary. In this paper, we present a new dormancy policy for the novel smart ad hoc sensor system that has dynamic self-adaptive ability. At the same time, simulation has been launched to support our new ideal and schemes.
