  • Abstract
Flue gas desulfurization process with water mist was conducted on spray-spouted tower. By use of fine limestone particles as the desulfurization sorbent, the experiments to investigate the effects of operating conditions on the SO2 removal efficiency had been carried out. Results showed that it has been obtained that the SO2 removal efficiency was 80% Some alkali metal compounds (such as NaON, NaCl, MgCl2) have been used as an additive to improve the SO2 removal efficiency. The experimental results show that the three additives can increase significantly desulfurization efficiency. The effects of NaOH and NaCl are better than MgCl2, the desulfurization efficiency using the additives is over 90% comparative with without additives process.
