Abstract
In recent rapidly changing environment, electric commerce plays an important role on value chain. Many enterprises have developed Internet programs to ensure their continuous competitive advantage. But how electric commerce impact business performance is still a question. The purpose of the research is to analyze how the e-commerce capability affect firm performance. The paper adopts resource-based view, considers firms should have the new resource and ability to create new e-commerce capability to face the new environment. At last, the paper points out some research directions for the future study related to the capability and business value research from the resource based view.
